Our engineers will fit a satellite dish to your home or business and wire it on the outside of your building, through the wall and connect it to a 'satellite modem'. The satellite modem is then connected to your PC or your computer network via a simple LAN cable. Don't worry if you don't have a LAN connection on your PC, our engineers can install one (for a small extra charge) and will configure your PC or network for you.

Once connected, you can simply use your e-mail and Internet access as normal (but much, much faster!).

When you make a 'request' from the Internet (i.e. try to look up a web page) the satellite sends your information to the Eutelsat W1 satellite in geostationary orbit 33,000Km above the Earth. The signal is then transmitted from the satellite to our Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Germany which is connected to the Internet via very high speed reliable links. Information from the Internet is transferred to the NOC and from there back to the satellite where is is then transmitted back to your PC. E-mail works in exactly the same way.

As you can see, the system works entirely via satellite and unlike other 'one-way' satellite systems, no telephone line or costly GPRS connection via your mobile 'phone is required.
